High School
Champions Summit

The Champions Summit is an exclusive community of championship-level high school head coaches and high school athletics directors from the top programs around the country across all sports, as well as leaders involved with inspiring and instituting youth sports, fitness, and nutrition initiatives. The Champions Summit is aligned and partnered with the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition and the National Fitness Foundation. SLI is proud to be recognized as an NYSS Champion for promoting Youth Sports and supporting HealthGov’s National Youth Sports Strategy.

There is a requirement and expectation that all attendees adhere to a spirit of collaboration and contribution towards the greater good of adolescent athletics and mental health & wellness. Content will be determined by the group of head coaches, ADs, and youth sports leaders with topics such as participation, nutrition/performance, resiliency, NIL at the high school level, team culture, creating winning programs, what’s new in tech and analytics, etc. Our primary and intentional focus will be presenting content that assists and inspires the audience to better understand how to enable and promote an environment and ecosystem for their student-athletes to be the best person they can be while mitigating mental health and wellness issues, feelings of anxiety & depression, concerns about gun violence, politics, social justice, drug abuse, and other foundational elements that can determine the current and future quality of life for student-athletes.

The Sports Leadership Institute is proud to be recognized as a National Youth Sports Strategy Champion. NYSS Champions work to promote youth sports in their communities and help achieve the NYSS vision: that one day, all youth will have the opportunity, motivation, and access to play sports.

“The inaugural Champions Summit was amazing. There were presenters and attendees from all aspects of educational athletics and the information gained was priceless. Having attended several traditional conferences, this summit set itself apart from those as it truly was a collaborative event. The sessions were packed with actionable information that was relevant to the present landscape of our professions. I can’t wait to attend this summit for years to come.”
